The 8th Dohuk International Film Festival sponsored by Nahj Al-Iraq and a striking presence of Haval
As part of activities aimed at enhance and empowering the community and supporting the cultural movement in Kurdistan and Iraq,
Nahj Al-Iraq the exclusive dealer of Great Wall and Haval in Iraq, has been sponsoring the 8th Dohuk International Film Festival, which was launched for the period of eight days, November 15-22, 2021 as the first and only official sponsor of the automotive category at this festival to support the sprawling artistic efforts to promote and support film work.
Mr. Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Khaled Doski, Minister of Culture of the Province, Mr. Rebar Ahmed, Minister of Interior of the Region, and Mr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Dohuk,
opened the film festival in Dohuk province in the presence of several European and Asian consulates in the presence of a very large media presence.
Haval cars had a remarkable presence in attracting the spotlight through their participation in the festival by holding the task of transporting the guests and artists to the venue, in which Nahj Al-Iraq took the liberty of providing the support for the festival's by having 15 vehicles to transport guests and arrivals to the festival to the red carpet, which received many artists, filmmakers, writers and film critics from more than 30 countries.
The number of films participating in this festival has reached more than 94 Kurdish, Arab and foreign films, with 49 Arab and foreign films and 30 Kurdish films screened over the eight days of the festival. This year's festival's mission was to raise awareness and highlight the challenges facing the environment, as well as the seriousness of these problems, and how to protect and improve the environment.
